Amid this crisis, a gurudwara on G T Road has come out with aid for those who are stranded. They are providing free food and accommodation for all those stranded and they are using social networking to spread the message.

“We have asked our gurudwaras to offer all help possible. People can have ‘langar’ in the gurudwaras. They will also be helped in any other way possible,” Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Avtar Singh Makkar told PTI.
